Nope, I just leave out honey. Don't add anything else to it except

salt, it always works for me. Perhaps your eggs are really large and

making the batter too wet. I use farm eggs and they are not as large

as grocery store eggs.

What I normally do is mix up the batter without honey in the food

processor.

Take out half, add salt, put into loaf pan for bread.

Add 2 t. vanilla and 1/2 c. honey to rest of batter, and make cake.

Bake at 300 for about 50 minutes, watching carefully towards the end.
