Guest guest
Just to clarify that methyl B12 shots DO NOT need to be done by a doctor. Good DAN Dr's would give the parents a Rx for regular B12 shots. My son's Rx is for the B12 shot everyday, because he is very low in glutathione and cysteine, even among the ASD population. Google Dr. Neubrander (MD) and Jill , PhD. Dr Neubrander is really the guru on methyl b12 and the best technique for injection (buttocks, just under skin into fat, not muscle). Dr. ' research shows the relationship between ASD and low glutathione and what can be helpful such as B12. Is ASD? I would suggest finding a good DAN Dr. Becky mom to Noah (6, HFA) and (3, NT) SCD 2 weeks the injections have to be done by a > doctor. Sorry not more helpful. Guest guest
I can't wait to see our DAN end of April,....to see if he will let us do B12 at home! Because KiKi pediatrician will now let us do (b12 shots) them at home for some reason! This would make it so much easier and then we wouldn't have a 25.00 copay each crack! Thanks for the info, I will definitely look into this! Antoinette (day 29 SCD entire family) RE: B12 shots was:Toxic Levels of Amino Acids to Antoinette.
