How do you know if you have IBD?

I know that many of you on the SCD have IBD or UC. I

was wondering how you knew this was the problem. The

reason I ask is because my mother in law is suffering

right now from pain. She has had this problem for

some time but attributes it to stress. Doctors can't

seem to diagnose her or give her help. It seems like

she has GI issues but tests have all come back

negative. Is it difficult to detect? I have told her

about SCD based on my limited knowledge of her

condition but would like to learn more about it first

hand from those of you who have overcome it. I am

researching the illness on the internet.

My autistic son has been on SCD for over a year and a

half and has had great success. So has my NT daughter

and the rest of the family. SCD was a key part in my

son's recovery.

Any info would be appreciated.
