, that was pretty much the same reaction that I experienced after I

put the HerbaCort on for the first time. At that time, my face was

burning/itching/tingling and it felt very tight. I assume it was Nutraderm

causing this (even though years ago, I was on it for years, literally,

without problem). My face felt much calmer in about 2 hours. After a few

days on it, the feeling of tightness disappeared, too.

On Saturday it will be three weeks since I started using it and so far so

good.

I am putting on very little and I spread it well (I stick with the less is

more approach), though I do cover my entire face. And it really feels good

as an eye cream, too. I just stick my finger in the jar - it is not the best

method, I know, at least I always wash my hands with soap beforehand. I

pretty much put it on only once a day, though if sometimes I do have the

itchy bumps, I apply a bit of H. during the day but only on that spot. On

most days, in the morning I wash with Cetaphil bar, apply Metrogel, then

Herbacort. At night, I wash with Cetaphil again and then proceed with my

cabbage regime. On the ad hoc day when I am too lazy at night, I use Metro

and HerbaCort after washing.

By the way, I originally estimated that the 50 g jar won't last longer than

2 weeks. I was wrong. A little goes a long way and I think it will last me 4

weeks easily.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Alena

P.S. I will send my ingredients list tonight
