Guest guest
I tried neurontin for facial pain, and it did not help me. However, others have taken it alone and with effexor, and found it to be quite helpful. The worst side effect is drowsiness, which does eventually go away after being on the drug for a reasonable amount of time. Also, I was told by my dr that you can increase the dosage as quickly as you can handle it, but to get off, you are supposed to taper slowly. I am not a dr, so this is just my opinion, not medical advice! Meg > My derm prescribed it for pain and said it would help with flushing > also.
