Guest guest
Seeing the number of posts that are related to eye issues and kids with autism and/or digestive issues, is there a relation? Just curious - my son is NT but has colitis and has had digestive issues all his life and also has a lazy eye. I don't want my youngest to have these issues if they are somehow preventable - I know genetics play a part, but I wonder if the gut issues contribute. Guest guest
Robbie, I don't know the answer, but it's a very interesting question. Both of my boys have visual processing disorders. My older son's problems are worse than my younger son. Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/

Guest guest
I don't remember where I read it, but there was a study that found a connection between starch consumption and nearsightedness in children. With the starch/gut connection, maybe it is causing other eye problems as well. --- Little Britches Boutique robbie@...> wrote: > Seeing the number of posts that are related to eye > issues and kids with > autism and/or digestive issues, is there a relation? > Just curious - my son > is NT but has colitis and has had digestive issues > all his life and also has > a lazy eye.
