Sorry guys!

Well, I would like to now if some one of you have any concern about enlarged

ovary.

I done US, due so much pelvic pain and my left ovary have 36cc, the normal

is between 3 to 9 cc. This ovary also have a cyst with close to 4 cm ( not

so

much big). The right appear to be OK, 4cc.

I had previous story of cysts, incl. hemorrhagic (surgery done at 1994), I´m

37

no kids, no pills and too shorts cicles.

As my gyn. appt. is only on the next month, and I know that some girls here

also

deal with those problems I would like some help.

Analgesics appear to do nothing.

Only thing that I found on the WEB, talk bout policystic, that I think it´s

not my

case and cancer.

I also done amylase blood test and is high again.

Thanks in Advance,

Liane

Liane,

I had my left ovary removed in Feb 2001 due to a large and crowing cyst that was

causing much pain. When the GYN removed it he found it was in terrible shape.

He said it was 'glued' down to my intestines. He said it could have been

causing me back, stomach, and bladder problems. Within 8 days after he removed

the ovary I felt like a new woman. I ended up turning down a disability

retirement from work I felt so much better! I had previously had my uterus

removed in hysterectomy (in 1993). The GYN left my right ovary because he felt

it is better to go into natural menopause.

The surgery to remove myovary was not a bad one (as surgery goes) I went home

the same day. I think I had 2 or 3 tiny incisions.
