Guest guest
Hi. Does anyone know of a link between pancreatitis and some type of autoimmune response. I was at MUSC for my appt with and spoke with her about my medical history and if any of it actually be caused by an autoimmune response. In addition to the pancreatitis, I have asthma and interstital cystitis had endocarditis and I believe arthritis. My hands turn red, swell, hurt. Also my right shoulder still hurts following the infection in my pacer pocket (that was on the right also) I do not have lupus, I was tested for it years ago. but I am wondering if I do not have some type of autoimmune process going on. I still spike temps at night.. worse if I have been active. If I stay in bed I don't get them. They haven't gotten above 101.5 but 100.6- 101.0 is common. I've had to go back to using the Duragesic patches this past week. I was awakened last Wed. with that " big pain from the sky " I had to get in a hot shower and find the oxycotin to get some relief. I had an appt with my shrink the next day and I couldn't even stand upright. I was walking all hunched over. I couldn't cancel becasue I needed meds and wanted to be seen before the new deductible kicks in Jan 1. Anyway, I'm rambling now I was just wondering if anyone had any information about autoimmune diseases and pancreatitis. Thanks. -SC
