Is it possible it's just the acidity? Maybe because the crushed juice is

straight juice and the chunks have water added?

I think you're right. I gave the crushed a hot water bath and it still burned

its way down.

Next I'll either cook it or put a dagger through its heart.

I am out of the Dole-drums. I washed my pineapple in hot water and added water

to it. It

still burned so I gave it the heave and kissed a trifling 87 cents (Walmart)

goodbye without

tears and turned my attention to my benign pieapple in its OWN juice. I did

email the

company and will be interested in a reply.

BTW: here's something to do with crushed pineapple;

1/4- 1/2 cup water packed chunk tuna, flaked

1/4 cup crushed pineapple

1 " slice of sweet raw red pepper minced,

a few broken pecan halves

a clove minced garlic

1 tablspoon SCD mayo

Combine and enjoy!
