Guest guest
I have only been on this group for a week now and I am impressed by the attention paid to ingredients that are in products. It is really the only way to compare apples to apples in the confusing area of skin care. There are scads of technical sources on cosmetics ingredients out there but for the consumer this book is by far the best I've seen. Anyone who puts anything on their skin should have this so that you will be an informed shopper. For those trying an elimination skin care diet to determine triggers it can help you to easily pick out a suspect. I just checked amazon and it is $12.80 new and $8.00 used for a paperback copy. The book is a great first book on the fascinating world of chemistry in cosmetics. It is called A Consumers Dictionary of Cosmetic Ingredients by Ruth Winter.
