Day 3: I feel horrible

Ok, so I was really gung ho to start this diet. Positive outlook and

everything. We've always eaten a relatively low grain diet anyway,

mostly meats, fruit and veggies. I always felt good when I ate this way.

We are on day 3. We could only do one day on intro, but we did not have

a diarrhea issue. The kids seem to be feeling fine and have a pretty

good disposition. I, on the other hand, feel like a bear! I can't stand

it. I am Soooo irritable and feel rotten. I really wish I hadn't started

this myself at the same time as the kids. I am lashing out at them big

time. I can't stand it with them asking for foods that they can't have.

Normally, this would be fine, but the combination of the two is driving

me insane. I feel like crud and don't have the wherewithal to be

creative and make beginner SCD foods that they'll eat with so many

restrictions at first.

I feel like I need to add more foods for myself before I go crazy. I

have been eating chicken soup, homemade applesauce, cooked carrots,

eggs, legal gelatin, broiled meat, midas gold pancakes. I am

considering just being SCD but not worrying about when foods are

introduced. I do not have any of the conditions this diet is for, though

I have had minor issue in the past.I'm primarily doing it for my kids to

make it easier on them.
