Guest guest Posted November 5, 2002 Report Share Posted November 5, 2002 Hello all, I had a sudden opportunity to go over to Arkansas and spend a couple of days with my new grandson this past weekend. Sorry I left without notice. It was a long drive round trip, but it is so wonderful to be with my family. My daughter and son in law had a son, Isaac, three months ago and I have been too ill to go visit until now. He is, of course, precious! It is hard for my children to understand and accept that I am so sick and can't be the mother they are used to having. I saw my brother whom I had not seen for more years than anyone would believe. We sat at the piano and played tunes from rock 'N roll to lullabies. As he put it seeing him was a union of 1/3 of my soul. I was afraid I would end up taking Dilaudid all weekend to deal with the pain. Having learned Reflexology recently, I was able to handle almost all of my sudden pain attacks with this new tool! It is just unbelievable. I am tired, but had a great time. As all of you understand, it is also so overwhelming to return to hundreds of emails. So, if I don't get to one of yours, please resend it to me. I hope everyone is doing okay. I hope everybody was able to get out to the polls to vote. I know that so many of us are not able to do this. I am going to try and find information on absentee voting to put on the website.
