Guest guest
<< feel light headed >> Hi, ! Don't neglect your body's need for salt/potassium. Make sure that you get enough V8 and/or Gatorade daily. We need the potassium to maintain the circulatory system which delivers our nutrients. No or low potassium levels cause the circulatory system to narrow...we get lightheaded and fatigued. If you can, try nibbling on one saltine. The other thing that I found helpful: protein, 60 - 70 grams of it daily. That's using yogurt, tofu (in smoothies), protein shakes...you name it, I've created it to stay ahead of my body's need for protein and potassium. Lastly, give yourself some " down " time after you eat. Try laying down for about 20 minutes after eating; it slows the emptying of the new tummy. Keep on truckin'!
