Guest guest
I am really stewing in my own juice this morning, ( or I should say " in Dole's own juice. " ) I have a 14 oz. tin of Dole Crushed Pineapple " from Walmart " in pineapple juice, " ingredients:, crushed pineapple, pineapple juice and citric acid. It just about burned a hole in my stomach. I have a tin of Dole Pineapple Chunks from Costco " in it's own juice. " Ingredients chunk pineapple: pineapple juice, water, clarified pineapple juice concentrate, citric acid. This one doesn't hurt. The only match up on the cans is they both have the same customer service phone number. To top it off they both come from Thailand, not Hawaii. Do I need a course in reading labels, a new travel agent, or do I just start using fresh pineapple to conform to the Specific Carbohydrate Diet protocol to use only fruit in it's own juice. Whose juice is this anyway? Carol F. Toronto, celiac, SCD 6 years
