I don't know if I would believe them if you have actual cases of pancreatitis where the amylase and lipase were elevated. Although I do know someone who was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis - actually they told her she had pancreas divisum from doing an ERCP - she kept going to other hospitals until a biliary specialist did a colonoscopy on her and she had crone's disease (sp).
