Tricare approved! Need contacts!!

Hi everyone,

I've posted once or twice but mainly lurked for the last two months. I need

contacts and would love to hear from someone with something in common.

I'm in Chapel Hill, just moved there, to start law school this fall. I weigh

240 and am 5 feet 3 inches, but not for long! (I've got three children and

would love to hear how other Moms have coped with caring for them after

surgery.) I have a tentative date on July 14!! I'm just waiting for my pap

smear result to arrive, that plus completing my contacts, of course. I've

talked to several people informally via email but not written it down as a

contact. I couldn't bring myself to do it until I was actually approved by

the insurance. I didn't want to get my hopes up.

I'll be at the clinic on the 11th. I've seen lots of people post about

having surgery on the 14th but not paid a lot of attention because I didn't

dream Tricare would approve me within 3 business days! The biggest delay was

that Dr. R somehow didn't get my first submission of info, which I sent on

5/29/00. (I even had a confirmation, but he still didn't get it.) I resent

the info after checking with Debbie and realizing nothing was there. I

resent it on 6/21/00 and they faxed a letter to Tricare right away.

I kept reading posts about not wanting to bother Debbie or Barbara and that

the office would send you the letter for the insurance when they faxed it.

In hindsight, I should have called a lot sooner.

I'm rambling but I'm so excited. I need to call a couple of people for

contacts, (Valmaboyz) and Rick and Janet Armour, be prepared, I'll be

calling! :-)

I would like the email address of one lady I spoke to - Smittyxxx or

something like that. Can anyone identify this one? She has tricare and was

very helpful online one day.

Can you local folks, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, weigh in, so to speak, so

I can get to know support folks?
