Guest guest
Hi all, i was surfing the web and came upon a site called handbag.com, which is a beauty site that has a question/answer page with a british " beauty expert " , Gustafson. i encourage all to peruse the site..the archives have a lot of questions from people who sound like they have rosacea. of course most of the responses are pretty basic but he has some good cosmetic recommendations to cover redness, etc. i found this one to be particularly interesting, especially for those with dry flaky skin. http://handbag.com/beauty/johnq75/ to summarize, one woman asked for help with her excessively flaky skin and in part of his response he says: " A while ago an American cosmeceutical company brought out a product made for people with eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis… all three are conditions with excessively dry skin. It was the first ever product that had the exact lipid and ceramides ration that skin has and it allowed the skin to repair its barrier function so it would behave as normal skin again " the cream is called Osmotics Extreme. has anyone heard of this? hmm, doesn't this sound like it might be helpful for rosaceans?
