Guest guest
Are you using Estee Lauder Idealist Refinisher? Can anyone give the ingredients of Estee Lauder Idealist Refinisher? Newbie here! > Hi, folks. Just wanted to introduce myself as a new group member. I have mild to moderate rosacea, and currently am using Plexion wash and Desowen lotion .05% with reasonably good results. Recently my wife suggested I try Este Lauder Idealist, and I was surprised how it reduced my redness and improved my skin tone. Anyone else have anyexperience with this? I plan to mention it to my dermatologist when I see him next week. The stuff is awfully expensive, though. > Best regards... >

Guest guest
Hi, Shirley, here are the ingredients for Este Lauder's Idealist: water (aqua purificata) purified dimethicone polysilicone - 11 cyclomethicone sodium lactobionate isopentyldiol acrylamide/sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate copolymer camellia sinensis (green tea) extract laminaria saccharina extract triticum vulgare (wheat) germ extract hordeum vulgare (barley) extract sodium glycyrrhetinate saxifraga sarmentosa extract modified polysaccharides sclareolide scutellaria baicalensis extract vitis vinifera (grape) extract whey protein (lactis proteinum) tocopheryl acetate morus nigra (mulberry) root extract cholesterol caffeine magnesium ascorbyl phosphate acetyl glucosamine sodium hyaluronate pantethine ammonium acryloyldimethyltaurate copolymer phenyl trimethicone lavandula angustifolia (lavender) glycerin sodium carbomer hydroxyethylcellulose citrus grandis (grapefruit California) polyethylene polysorbate 20 squalane butylene glycol floralozone polysorbate 80 methyldihydrojasmonate isohexadecane coriandrum sativum (coriander) phenoxyethanol imidazolidinyl urea methylparaben ethylparaben propylparaben butylparaben mica titanium dioxide (CI 77891) iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499) I think what makes the skin feel so soft after using it is all the 'cones in the product, and I've seen them referred to, elsewhere, as breathable polymers. Best to all... Mike McKinley Re: Estee Lauder Idealist Are you using Estee Lauder Idealist Refinisher? Can anyone give the ingredients of Estee Lauder Idealist Refinisher? Guest guest
Here is a link with a lot of skin care products ingredients. Scroll down to Revitilizers and Other Treatments near the end of the page. Idealist is listed there. http://www.geocities.com/potterstuff/textproducts.html I spoke with an Estee Lauder " beauty consultant " who recommended that I not try the Idealist, but use Vita some or other, of course she was clueless... The Idealist seems similar to Neova Green Tea Serum (dermadoctor.com) in terms on calming the skin, but the Idealist, at least theoretically seems to go a bit further.
