Guest guest
Hi ya'll, I am a 20 year old college student and have had moderate rosacea with frequent flushing in the cheeks, nose, chin area, and foreheadfor a solid five years now. I am in the middle of my photoderm treatment right now, having finished four sessions. A nurse does my treatments, because I was unaware of the importance of having a physician do them. At any rate, she seems to have been well trained, but has not followed some of the advice that I've found from Dr. Nase's and Dr. Bitter's postings, i.e. she only makes me wait two weeks in between treatments instead of three to four, she is not aware of the importance of induced flushing, and she doesn't treat under the tip of the nose and under the side of the nose...... But she is encouraging and aggressive and I have seen improvements so far. I have experienced more improvement in my flushings, and less in the reddened skin, and I am optimistic that further treatments with the help of the advice from the postings will result in drastic improvements. I reccomend this procedure over any other, hands down. My questions for Dr. Nase and Dr. Bitter are: 1)Is there a limit to the number of treatments that you can get?... 2) Will I be doing these treatments every two years for the rest of my life to see clear skin?... 3)Should I combine treatments with the Vasculight laser?.... 4) Should I use topical or oral meds in conjunction with the treatments?.... Any information will be greatly appreciated! Thank you,
