Guest guest
Ok my first controversial post! When reading through some of the postings here, I can't help sometimes but chuckle at the bizarre things some people say they're suffering from. I suffer from seb derm and have done for about 10 years now. I'm very realistic about this condition, I believe it's probably constitutional by nature and therefore I have to accept it. I understand the symptoms and what tends to help and what doesn't. However some of the symptoms some folks describe here are almost laughable and almost certainly nothing to do with seb derm or rosacea...left running nostril, weak limbs, itchy little finger, pimple on the right buttock...the list of meaningless things gets longer...lol What happens is that one hypochrondriac encourages the other, until they're both convinced the itchy nose they suffer, after eating a certain type of lesser spotted beansprout is a food allergy. I'm sorry I just don't buy it. cea and seb derm are two widely known and recognised conditions, the symptoms are pretty much accepted and universally experienced. However some of the downright weird complaints on this message board are frankly ridiculous, any doctor will probably tell you that. However no point in quoting doctors, as most hypochondriacs disbelieve everything they say! So my point is this...lighten up! recognise what is obviously related to seb derm and rosacea, and what is just a figment of your over fertile imagination. I don't direct this to people who have just discovered they have these conditions , but to those years old sufferers, who should know better. Ok I suppose I can expect the hate mail anytime now...lol I'm not trying to offend, just to make people catch a grip of themselves. I hate seb derm, the bane of my life, but I don't give it any respect and I try to worry about it as little as possible..try it ..it helps! good luck everyone
