Guest guest
Dear All, I went and got the Gold Bond lotion in the green bottle today... I've just washed my face with my usual Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser *liquid* and have applied the Gold Bond *ouchie* ... keep in mind, I still have the very mild stages of cea (enlarged pores on cheeks, surface vessels around sides of nose, some pink color)... well, it burned so bad it brought tears to my eyes, but I decided to stick it out. It only burned badly for about 5 minutes, and reduced itself to a cooling effect, much like Noxema. It did not leave my face greasy feeling either. We'll see if this does anything for my particular situation, which is just to reduce redness on the sides of the nose mostly. I'd like to hear if anyone else decides to try it and see how things go... for now, I'm going to do it twice a day, and I'm stopping the MetroCream as I've been on it for two months and don't see where it's done anything but moisturize my face. On another note, I got a catalog in the mail today called Gifts. In it is a cream called Dermal-K which claims to erase spider veins in a few weeks time. It says it is used by dermatologists and plastic surgeons for post-op bruising and diminishing scars and bruises. It has 5% USP grade Vitamin K cream in it... it's expensive tho... $29.98 for only 2 ounces... I'm not going to order it. I'm going to wait and see if Gold Bond does anything... wait and see if stopping MetroCream does anything. What I'm trying to avoid is having to spend money on lasers or any other type of light treatment not covered by insurances although some of them sound pretty good in that they get rid of wrinkles too... a
