Guest guest
Since the board is so active these days with product info, thought I would share the following: I recently ran out of Jane Iredale powder and the vendor I use wouldn't have it stock for another 2 weeks, so since I have no problem using Mercier liquid, thought I would try the new Foundation Powder. Liquids take a lot of time, and for everyday, I often use powders. Been using it one week with no problems, doesn't cover redness quite as well as JI, but with my diet and skin care regime, the redness and/or irritated areas not a major problem, only sensitivity. Very silky texture and easy to work with. Costs about the same as JI. Anyway, here are the ingredients. [ ] indicate my comment ( ) indicate what is on the box Talc dimethicone nylon-12 laroyl lysine zinc stearate magnesium myristate polymethyl methacrylate squalane [mositure retaining ingredient] methicone tocopherol [vit e] ascorbyl plamitate [vit c] sodium dehydroacetate methylparaben propylparaben mica tit dioxide (CI 77891) iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499) may contain ultramarines (CI 77007) Dermatologistist tested/not tested on animals GT
Guest guest
I forgot to add 2 things: (1) on days when my skin is feeling a bit dry, I just very lightly spritz toner (water works too) keeping the sprayer about 6 inches from my face, after I apply the powder, let dry naturally, takes about 2 minutes. Leaves the skin less made up looking and works well with the JI or LM. (2) I always apply the powder with a short brush. JI makes a kabuki brush, but I use Stila short travel push up brush...by the way, Stila brushes are incredibly soft to the face. Most makeup brushes hurt my skin like crazy. > Since the board is so active these days with product info, thought I > would share the following: > > I recently ran out of Jane Iredale powder and the vendor I use > wouldn't have it stock for another 2 weeks, so since I have no > problem using Mercier liquid, thought I would try the new > Foundation Powder.
