Guest guest
We're into our second day on the intro diet and ds is very gassy - he's eating spinach, beef, applesauce, diluted home-made apple juice. These are some of the only foods he is not allergic to that are suggested for the intro diet level. (The others are zucchini and pear and lamb, we're saving those for days 3 & 4, since we must rotate foods every 2 days). Should I presume that one (or more) of these foods doesn't agree with him? If so, what's my next step? Pull out one food at a time to find out what is the problem? My concern is that this could take a day or more, and I don't want to keep him on such a limited diet for so long. I was hoping to be able to add foods by the 3rd or 4th day. I'm sorry to have so many questions - it's hard to figure out how to do the intro diet with a child who has such few food choices. Advice please!
