Guest guest
WEEK FIVE: agenda for myself a.. make notations in journal regarding progression/digression b.. scan/read juicing books c.. throw out all makeup and start with fresh...do this every month d.. toss all old facial moisturizers and those in large containers. (note to self: the more you dip into a container the more bacteria is there. Limit moisturizer container size to two ounces) e.. begin gotu kola, ginkgo and chlorella f.. purchase chickweed g.. eliminate beef, pork and poultry. h.. increase consumption of soy, cold water fish (halibut, salmon, cod, sardines) i.. monitor mercury reports on tuna j.. make budget to have silver fillings drilled out and replaced with non-mercury containing composite k.. investigate soy products to determine which are GMO and which are non-GMO l.. make lavender shampoo to bathe cat in once a week Time to stop using aloe on my face and continue using the yogurt mixture as a cleanser. The dead skin cell build up was reduced to a normal and healthy level, my pores were opening up and could even sweat again. I found my underarms perspiring profusely at times. It felt so good to rid myself of excess heat. Add 3 drops glycerin tincture of chickweed per ounce of already prepared moisturizer. (i was now using an oil free moisturizer to which i added lavender, tea tree, chickweed, gotu kola, almond oil and grapeseed extract). I chose chickweed mostly to experiment. I had used chickweed many times for drawing out poisons from spider and insect bites so decided to see how it would work on pulling impurities out of my pores. Chickweed also has some moisturizing qualities as well as vitamin C. I begin taking ginkgo, gotu kola and chlorella. I also began taking siberian ginseng for the adrenal calming effect. I decided to get rid of beef, poultry and pork while i got my digestion back on track. The inability to digest proteins adequately creates an environment rich in polyamines which can aggravate the immune response(i.e. they contribute to leaky gut syndrome and flood the system with large undigested protein molecules contributing to allergies and inflammation). I particularly like the cold water fish oils due to their EPA content and the role EPA plays in curbing prostaglandin production and they also contain choline which is good for liver health. I made a food facts list which i posted earlier. Cats can carry mites, fleas etc so i decided to start bathing my cat weekly in lavender which repels insects. The weekly baths also reduced their saliva content on their fur. (I also keep lavender in my closets to keep moths out). I tossed all of my makeup and started with fresh. I wanted everything touching my face as clean as possible...no six month old makeup on these eyes. I did not wear makeup on my face but continued to use eye make-up (shadow and liner but no mascara). My lashes had stopped falling out in bunches and boy did they itch as they started to grow back. Note to self: Stay focused and caught up in creating a healthy internal vitality and the skin will reflect the balanced flame within.
