1st doctors visit....

Well, turns out Dr. F. is a wonderful doctor after all....

After just signing up for his PCP Monday, I went home last night to

find was running a fever. I called his after hours number and Dr.

recommended Tylenol and to call in the morning. So first thing this morning

I reached his office and they scheduled his appt for not even an hour later.

I quickly gave doctor the run down (as he has yet to get anything from the

other drs - and rightly so, since it has only been a couple days...) He

stood and watched breathe for a bit then started his exam. He seemed

concerned that Josh has had his cough for so long (about 5 weeks now), and

told me to continue with the saline drops and suctioning for his nose. As

for the fever... he said his left ear looked funny.... whatever that

means... he went and got some kind of contraption to measure the fluid on

his ears, which he said there were none, and said he thought Josh might have

an ear infection... it just didn't seem like he was so sure about this. His

exact words.... " His left ear looks funny... " and he looked in it for quite

some time. I almost knew he was going to say something about it cause of how

long it took. He looked in his right ear first and that only took seconds.

And I might add that Josh was none too pleased with it either.

We go back in a week and a half for his " official " check-up. He's hoping he

will have all the records by then.

On the up side::::::::: Josh has gained 9 ounces and is up to 12-lbs 1 oz...

He is 12 weeks today!
