Guest guest
I'm new to the group. I have rosacea. I also have had allergies most of my life and have a condition called cholinergic urticaria. That means I get hives whenever I exercise. It seems to me that many of the rosacea sufferers also have allergies and other auto-immune problems. While frequent flushing seems to be a component to rosacea, there most definitely seems to be an auto-immune component. I'm curious.....has anyone ever had their Total IgE measured in their blood? IgE is produced during the allergic process. I wonder if it is high in most rosacea sufferers. I'm going to a naturopathic doctor this week with the hope of getting the ELISA food allergy test. It is supposed to test for delayed reaction food allergies. Thanks for all of the info everyone shares. This is very helpful.
