Guest guest
Thanks to all who responded to my novel of an intro, both on and off the list. So much great advice and support!! At my derm visit yesterday, she decided to take me off the Duricef, particularly since overnight I turned into a veritable petri dish of yeast...it's everywhere (almost)...ugh. I was so happy to be taken off the antibiotics that I forgot to ask exactly how are we going to deal with the ocular problem? My eyes (and scalp) are already getting itchy. Oops...guess I'll ask next week at the 6th AND LAST PhotoDerm treatment. She's opted to try azelaic acid cream next on my face. I've used it for one night and already the scabby flakies are healing, yay, but way too soon to tell if it is going to help long-term, of course. She also mentioned Accutane as a last resort but not yet. Meanwhile, I am purging the house of perishable carbs (almost all gone now) and will be trying low carb for a few weeks to see if it helps as it seemed to help before. I also need to go get all the good books everyone here recommended. Thanks again! _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp.
