Hi Suzi, I am asking you because you have a food allergy - did your food allergy

ever cause you to get an itchy nose? or itching in other places? without obvious

spots or visible signs of itching like rashes? I have not eaten much at all in

two days - a few sandwiches maybe and a drop of soup and my itching has been

minimal. However, tonight I did some exercise and then an hour and a half or so

later I went to the chipshop and bought fish in batter, chips and mushy peas.

Then I got home and ate it - about halfway through I thought it could do with

more salt and vinegar and put more on. Then the ceaseless tingling and itching

started in my nose. I also have this feeling in my muscles like they are a bit

heavier and feel week - do I just sound mad. I always get this strange heaviness

and weakness of limbs (usually arms, neck and shoulders) after I take the wine

at communion on Sundays in church. It does not last long but it is very

noticeable. Does this sound like anything you have experienced? I am really

considering food allergy testing when I have enough money. The nose tingling is

the worst and it usually spreads to other body parts (mostly my face and eyes

but torso, arms, neck, back, legs etc too). Has your nose ever tingled cos of

food allergy?

Did your food allergy ever cause red sore cheeks or seb derm? I hate to say this

and apologies for my forthrightness but I also get an itchy bottom and private

parts.

After this meal, I have an itchy back, nose and bottom. I have never not eaten

long enough to be able to make associations but as I have eaten so little in the

past 2 days and my symptoms are so marked that it seems obvious something in the

meal has caused it. Could I also ask Suzi, are your symptoms ever worst first

thing in the morning, upon waking?

Any insights? Please?
