Guest guest Posted June 9, 2000 Report Share Posted June 9, 2000 Oh My Gosh!!!!!! I had been told, wrongly, that my ins policy will not cover WLS, and was resigned to self pay. I just called my Human Resources department and they said that I would be covered because it was for the treatment of joint degeneration, hypertension, and possible sleep apnea! OMG!!!!! Also that they would pay, " in-network " rate (100%!!!!!) if my PCP would write a letter explaining that Dr. R was the ONLY surgeon performing this procedure and why he felt this would be the best option for me!!!!!!!! I'm overwhelmed.... excited... and all I can say now, is WOW!
