Guest guest
Hey there - Just thought I'd add my two cents worth. I suffer from light-colored and floating stools myself. I consider myself a neuro typical and pretty healthy otherwise. I am also Blood Type A. Blood Type As are often HCL deficient, which impacts the ability to breakdown food -- thus impacting nutrient absorption. I find when I take HCL (500 mg per meal) my stools immediately darken. I have read that floating stools can be indicative of a problem breaking down fats. I take lipase - an enzyme that breaks down fats. Lypo by Enzymedica is a good product available in health food stores. So, taking HCL and lipase helps to resolve this issue. I am still researching the underlying cause of low HCL (maybe hereditary) and inadequate lipase function (hereditary or due to another prob) Cindy
