Guest guest
Thanks , I have learned alot by just reading the emails on pecanbread.I'll keep that one on file. Toni mom to Matteo ASD scd 41/2 months just 4 yrears old Oxytocin for Autism? I am not autistic, nor are my children. I have celiac. But my doctor gave me an injection of oxytocin on my last visit. I've done quite a bit of research on the internet about it, and discovered last night that they are now seeing that oxytocin is beneficial for autism, and wanted you to know about it. The differences it made for me were quite obvious, especially as far as brain function and social abilities. I've had a real struggle (since being celiac) with crowds and any activity that is fast paced. It's like I get way too overstimulated. Anyway, with the oxytocin, it REALLY helped those symptoms. I felt like I could go anywhere, do anything, no matter how much noise and hype there was. :-) The downside was that I was quite fatigued, but we are working on thyroid and adrenals.....and that may have been related to that. Well....I just thought I'd let you know what I read and my experience with it. It might be worth looking into for your kiddos. Have a great SCD day! ~ _________________________________________________________________ On the road to retirement? Guest guest
, This is interesting. I'm wondering if you have to get the injections over and over? Did your gut symptoms go away? gwen Luca ds almost
