Guest guest
Thank you to everyone who sent me messages of support about my diet. I. I think that when sticking to a diet, it is difficult when you have family or friends who don't support you and think you're being " faddy " or " fussy " or " difficult " . Luckily I didn't have this problem, but I can see it being one for some people - I think those of you who are on a diet just have to remember that these other people aren't the ones who have to put up with the horrible symptoms of rosacea, and just stick to your guns - don't even consider " just tasting " what they're offering you or giving in when they say that eating such and such just this once won't do you any harm. It will! - if it's dairy products causing the problem, for instance, and you stay without them for two weeks and then decide to have some milk or butter in the third week, then you have thrown away two weeks of diet! Apparently a month is the minimum in which the body can throw off the toxins produced by erroneous nutrition, and three months minimum for something you really react to. I forgot to mention another advantage which I have just noticed in the last couple of days - a lack of constant catarrh in my throat. I was always clearing my throat, especially in the mornings after breakfast, which was when I had milk and butter (in fact, that made me suspect dairy products as one of the culprits, but I couldn't bring myself to give up my morning coffee with milk and my toast with butter, until the test confirmed it!). I hope more of you find what works for you soon. Keep going!
