Guest guest
I have been having really bad bloating and some pain.I have been eating a lot of peanuts lately (and peanut butter) after not eating it for a while. and I am wondering, could this be a symptom of not tolerating them? Just thought someone might have some insight about this. Thanks in advance. Guest guest
After a lifetime of being addicted to Peanut Butter, I have to say that I have given it up as well, this has been one of the hardest things to give up, and I hope it is not forever, I consider it my one junk food, I love the arrowhead mills organic valencia pb, I pour all the oil off so it is hard and I can pick it up like candy, but no more, PB is out of my life for the time being > >Reply-To: pecanbread >To: pecanbread > >Subject: Re: Re: peanuts >Date: Wed, 15 Mar 2006 20:05:46 -0700 > >Hi Kelli, >We also had a horrible time with the peanut also, similar to you!...we are >not eating it anymore...maybe try in another three months after healing >takes place. > >Antoinette (day 23 SCD entire family) > Re: peanuts > > > Hi Kelli, > > > I have been having really bad bloating and some pain.I have been > eating a > > lot of peanuts lately (and peanut butter) after not eating it for > a while. > > and I am wondering, could this be a symptom of not tolerating > them? Guest guest
> > Hi, > > I think others already responded . Just thougt to tell you that I myself can get a bit ill if I over do it with peanuts. I used to be on the original SCD digest years ago and it was known then " to go easy on the peanuts! " . > > They are part of my diet, but I have to limit the amount. Just a reminder. Peanuts should not be used at the start of the diet. Elaine says six months after diaharrea is gone. It's intBTVC edition 10 page 74 but I was almost afraid to say it. LOL! Carol F. SCD 6 years, celiac
