Guest guest
, you don't know how much good you did me! Seeing you was the best " medicine " I've ever had! I keep thinking (as I drink my broth) 100 lbs. in 6 months, 100 lbs. in 6 months... I feel so good. I still can't believe anything has happened! Except that now instead of an appetizer, a soup, and an entree at my neighborhood Chinese restaurant, my dinner consists of 1/2 bowl of Wonton broth, and I'm FULL! WOW!!!!! Yes, I'm feeling better today emotionally, physically, mentally. Thanks , and everyone for your continued support! Blessings ~Amy. _____________________________________________ Amy S. Guest guest
Amy, Do you want to start a support group for our area? We could include land and D.C. into our group. I think it would be helpful, huh? a 5/29/00 Amy Poe wrote: > > , you don't know how much good you did me! Seeing you was the best > " medicine " I've ever had! Guest guest
Hey! If you start a support group, count me in. It's a long drive up to that area but it would be worth it just to rub elbows (now that my butt won't be in the way of my elbows) with winners like you guys! Guest guest
Dear Amy, Hopefully it is true when they say children Zach's age don't remember hospital stays or discomfort once they are feeling better and get a little older. I am not comparing at all but when my son was 4, he had his tonsils and adenoids removed. He was in tough shape for over two weeks and has no recollection. I will keep him in my prayers. Thank God children are so resilient! luv, SusieG ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET! Juno now offers FREE Internet Access! Guest guest
Thanks for your concern! Zachary is only 10 months, so we don't have to worry about that part. It's really effecting my older boys though, and every time Zachary gets sick, it disrupts them for about a month. I appreciate your good thoughts! Amy. Re: Amy Poe Dear Amy, I was in the hospital for 10 days when I was 3 and the only thing I remember was the nice woman whose child was across the hall coming in and playing with me. Only happy memories. Be sure to tell him exactly what is going to happen even if you think he doesn't understand, prepare him. Not knowing is the scariest part!!!!
