Hi ,

I was on 2 treatments of accutane (for acne) and it

did NOT help it long term. I don't know if this will

help you but I think it is worth looking into. To

control my acne (wich has worked for me big time) is

this diet...

You can read about it in a natural health encyclopedia

at Barns and Nobles, there are probably a few out

there now that have similar suggestions. Basicaly they

are(plus some other things I've found along the way):

*Remove all white flour (white bread, white rice)

*No more milk(lactose) (I didn't follow this one and

was still helped by the diet, but I noticed keeping my

milk to a minimum helps my digestion)

*No hydrogenated oils (usually found in some peanut

butter, and nearly ALL junk foods)

*NO REFINED SUGAR! (no table sugar, candy bars, fruity

junk food snacks, etc. I got all my sweets from fruit,

honey and maple syrup, etc)

*Be very gentle with cleansing face (shower always

makes me red in the face, so I stoped washing my face

in the shower, now I wash it separetly with cool water

right after my shower)

Use a mild, non irritating soap. I use " natual

healthy " soap that I usualy find in the organic/health

freak section at the grocer store :D

*Use detergents with NO ADDED COLORS, OR FRAGRANCE.

(yes, they do have these, usually in the same ile as

the regular ones)

*Some form of skilled relaxation (stress is a trigger,

there is meditation, visualization, yoga, etc.)

Hope you get something out of all this. Good luck!

(aka Bill)
