My previous email mentionned a reaction to event he most simple products, and I

appreciate quite a few others are in the same boat.

The problem is my skin is incredibly dehydrated and putting on anything

moisturising makes it much worse- incredible as it sounds.

The problem is I have so much edema too. After a flush I get edema ranginf from

mild to quiet severe. Although this edema just appears in my cheeks. I have also

found that I swell when expoised to anything that may irritate the skin ie wind,

cold , heat cosmetics and so on. If I just wash with water the next day I have

peeling white skin- this is different to the obvious seborrheic eczema that I

have on my forehead- the flakes are much more oily.

My question is if my swelling is mainly due to inflammation, what can i take to

reduce it? I have tried aspirin and although it used to work it now causes more

swelling. Someone kindly suggested taking ibroprofen (Sp?). I'm wondering wheher

to take accutrane for my inflammation but as well as having a papuly face my

skin is so dry at times it cracks. I thought that accutane may break up that

visious cycle of inflammation. What do you guys think?
