GREAT idea as well. You all are just full of it :):):):) I love it when

everyone is so helpful & with grand ideas. I sure hope that helps clear it

up. keep us posted on the results, or as things change.

LOVE & HUGS, grandmomBEV

for Britta, about the rash

My daughter Eleanor, 10 months has a rash on her face that comes and

goes too. It's little red bumps, and they mostly occur around the

mouth and chin, and around her eyes. Eleanor was on Pulmozyme for a

short time at about 2-3months of age, but the rash has persisted.

My mom's theory is that it is possibly enzymes that have spent too

long in her mouth and dissolved a bit, making her saliva an irritant.

I am starting to think she is right.

If Eleanor's rash sounds anything like your baby's, try giving

several bites of applesauce or whatever AFTER you've given enzymes,

but before you give the bottle, cup or whatever to make sure every

last one of the pellets goes down. That way if she slobbers a bit,

or rubs her eyes, it won't irritate her skin. I am still not sure

this is the cause, but since I started doing this is seems to have

gotten alot better.

Something to try, anyway...

By the way, - if you find out its something else besides enzymes,

please post what you find out - because it really does sound similar

to Eleanor's rash - especially the part about how it changes during

the day!
