Y'all,

Have any of you had problems with hair care products? I used to

have flushing problems when I used hairspray, but since I

haven't used any hairspray or gel in over a year, I'm now

wondering if it was one of my other triggers that was causing me

problems. I'm just trying to identify each and every thing that

causes me to flush. Does alcohol or fragrance have the same

effect if placed in the hair or on the skin (other than the face) as if

it is swallowed (beer, etc.) or topically applied to the face

(creams, lotions, etc.)?

Also, I was wondering about chewing gum. Obviously, things

like Altoids are out. But what about regular gum, or sugar-free

gum? I'm not a frequent gum-chewer, but I was wondering if

anybody had noticed problems with gum-chewing. And if you do,

is it the ingredients IN the gum, or just the act of chewing that

raises the facial temperature?

Thanks in advance for any responses....
