Guest guest
Hello Everyone! I hope this finds everyone enjoying this last weekend of summer! Back to school time WooHoo!! And a time to get ready for the wonders of the approaching Fall. My favorite time of the year! I am an October baby and have always preferred the fall over any other season... I think its the colors. They all go so well with my hair color! I am feelling better finally, the new pain med and anti spasm meds seem to be doing the trick, I actually ate today and didn't get sick, YAY!! Of course that doesn't always mean that things will go so well tomorrow, but I'll thank God for the GREAT DAY I had today. I took the boys (Brady and one of his friends and Tyler) and went to a Flea Market in Tekonsha, about an hour away from us... they wore themselves out and I managed to get out of there for less than $50. Picked up some jeans and a nice jersey for my oldest son and the boys got some odds and ends toys and I got some soybean candles that smell simply devine, and they don't burn all that black stuff (soot) and they don't get hot like regular candles do either. (wax) Anyway, we walked for better than an hour and then went home... It was great to be able to get out and just do something for a change. Well I am 19 days out from my surgical consult... I'm still nervous, but ready I think. I want to feel better and if the GI thinks this is going to help... then I am all for it. I have wanted the gastric bypass for several years, but haven't had the courage to get it. Now I don't have to. Whew what a load off. My middle son, Tyler has been diagnosed with triglyceridemia. And has to have his A & L's check this week. And I have asked the pediatrician to do the hereditary testing because I do NOT want him to have to go through all of the BS I have had to. The pediatrician told me there is NO testing for this...that kind of puts me off too... She is a doctor for Goodness sake! And a relatively new doctor, you would think she would at least have some knowledge of the testing!!! NOPE!! She is checking things out for us... I could have told her where to find the info, but she said she would get it on her own... ok, but you don't have much time lady!! Not when it comes to my kids! (They may make me crazy, but I don't want them to EVER have to deal with this.) Anyway...there is an update on me... I hope that everyone is doing ok. {{{HUGZ}}} ---------------------------------
