Guest guest
Dear Gwen, Where in south GA do you live? I am a recently transplanted Atlanta resident who moved from IL 3/1 to be close to my daughter and grandkids after I lost my job in IL. The job loss has delayed my having the MGB, due to finances and Cobra insurance issues. Now, also, I have to find a supportive dr. to follow up on me after surgery. It sounds like you're taking the right steps, reading the manual and the list. There's lots of good info on this list; I don't post much but read every day. I also have been over 200 for more than 20 yr. and 300 for the last year or so. I'm 52, 5'7 " , BMI 48. Please email me privately if you want to chat. Good luck in your pursuit of the MGB. Hopefully, we'll all get to the othe side soon. P. in GA Help > My name is Gwen and I live in south Georgia. I am so excited about this surgery and get more so as each day passes. I have even begun to dream about it. This is an answered prayer for me, I have always known in my heart that one day I would be able to free my body from the bondage and pain of all this weight. I have read my manual 3 times (and still reading), for the first time ever I have my husbands full support and have discussed it with my parents and they are thrilled as well. I have been over 200 for more than 20 years and over 300 for a year or more and continue to climb. > What I need know is what do I do first? Where do I start so that I can get this underway ASAP, I want to get on with the life that stopped for me over a year ago. > I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance (new this week), does anyone know about how easy/hard it is with this insurance? Should I wait longer since it is a new policy? > I will take whatever advice and/or guidance I can get. > Sincerely, Gwen pandapal66@... > ........................................................ > iWon.com http://www.iwon.com why wouldn't you? > ........................................................ > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Failed tests, classes skipped, forgotten locker combinations. > Remember the good 'ol days > http://click.egroups.com/1/4053/2/_/453517/_/959708399/ > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > This message is from the Mini-Gastric Bypass Mailing List at Onelist.com > Please visit our web site at http://clos.net > Get the Patient Manual at http://clos.net/get_patient_manual.htm > >
