Guest guest
Where is your website? How long did you have pancreatitis before your pain was 24/7?...I would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks, Becky Schrieber>>> Gidday Becky The course of this condition is not a " normal " one. In our support group, I have not seen 2 cases identicle among our 50 people. Now you are 1 year into it, I am 7.5 years into. Yours might come under control, it is possible, particularly if you remove all aggarvators from diet and lifestyle, after you have identified them, of course! I have had psuedo cysts also, but not that many and with external draining, we have managed them without surgery. I went into pain 24/7 about 18 months after I had the principle attack, During that time I was back in hosp 1 week every 6-8 weeks with either severe pain or minor attacks. At the 18 month mark, I spent 9 of 13 weeks in hosp with all sorts of things including jaundice and the head of the pancreas crushing the common bile duct, hence the jaundice. Itr was after that they addressed the continuous pain, mainly to keep me out of hosp unfortunately and not for my personal well being! Don't expect the course of your Hubby's condition to run a course.. I would be very surprised if it did. Find out his triggers and manage them well! This affliction is lethal at times so treating it with the utmost respect is a matter of course! Marmite
