Anyone have any sunscreen suggestions? Going to Mexico soon for vacation,

and can't wear regular sunscreens, stuff with PABA, methoxycinnamate, etc.,

in them as pustules, pimples, redness occur. Seen mention of Ombrelle and

Cetaphil sunscreens, but no pratical experience with them. Many thanks for

any help with this.

Kind regards to all...

Mike

I've never had any luck with sunscreens, they all cause tons of problems for

me... But there is one sunscreen I have used with limited success..

Unfortunately it does contain octyl methoxycinnamate, so I don't know if you

will be able to use it (I didnt realize methoxycinnamate could cause

problems?)

Anyway, for anyone interested its called Aftercare environmental protection

scream, SPF 30. Complete ingredient list = Zinc Oxide, Octyl

Methoxycinnamate, Octyl Salicylate, Allantoin.

I like it better than all the other sunscreens because it doesnt make my

face look NEARLY as greasy and it causes less irritation. It also doesnt

have too many chemical ingredients... nice and simple = less chance for a

weird reaction. It is sort of hard to rub on though. I know you said you

can't use Methoxycinnamate, but I figured I'd post this anyway because I

react to literally everything, and I have been able to tolerate this

sunscreen really well. (I especially like how it doesn't give my face that

oily, swollen look that most sunscreens do)
