Guest guest
Hi everyone! I kinda opened up this " Pandora's Box " on Panc. Cancer the other day, and I just want to thank everyone for their valuable time & input on this matter. You are all a God Send and a wealth of information! I do want to add one thing if I may (if my dumb blonde brain will work with me here!) (I'm an even dumber blonde than before due to the sepsis and brain trauma last year!-God help us!) So, if my memory serves me right, a few yrs ago while I was at IUMC in Indy (for 1 of my many 1 month stays) I had a lovely room-mate who had just been dx with panc. cancer. She told me that she had been treated for yrs for CP and that it wasn't until her " whipple " that the Drs found out that she had cancer. She said that the Drs. told her that due to the panc.'s " honeycombed " appearence, that it was very difficult to make a correct dx. The cancer hadn't even showed up on a CT or MRI and the Drs had said there again that it was because the cancer was so well hidden in the honeycombs of the panc. And by the way- she was a smoker. That's all my head will let me remember tonite. Thanks for listening and again for all of your help! I thank God every nite that I found you all! God's Blessings! Cyndie :-)
