Guest guest
, Thanks for your answer. I won't be going back to see Dr. Conwell anymore, so you'll have to tell him hi for yourself, the next time you see him. Sorry I can't help with the hello's. Take Care, Louie in WV Re: & Ohters-Pancreatic Burnout/ Setting up a poll Louie, Thanks! In my theory, it is the physical shape of the pancreas. The less you have, and its condition = the burn outstage timing. If you have a full pancreas with slight damage, it is going to take much much longer. I do believe! I also believe that much greater care of the body has to be taken after this point. I wish I had all the means to test everything, everyday. I have always believed it could happen, There are others who believe the same way. I would not be far off from saying it could be as much as 60% believe. Maybe someone could set up a poll and we vote on this. With everyone voting, It would be interesting to see the results, instead of my email count! Can someone please set up the poll? Give my best to Dr. Conwell. Thanks, > When I went to Cleveland Clinic this past Wed. I ask my Dr. Conwell about pancreatic Burnout and he told me that he has been a pancreatic doc since 94 at CC, and he has yet to see it exist. He told me that he now even sure it does happen. This did make me feel a little better, since my other doc told me it would happen in 5-10 years, when I reach 10 years I was told it would take 10-15 yrs, now they have revised it to 15-20 yrs. Why can't most docs be honest and say that they are not sure it even exists. At least they would not be giving me any more false hope. Before I even went to see Dr conwell, I really did not believe that burn-out exist. So now I feel better hearing it from a knowledgeable doc. I hope I haven't dampen anyone's hopes, but this is just how I think. > Take Care, > Louie in WV > > >
