Guest guest
i had the same reaction to using proactive for only three days. this was last July and I am still in agony from the effect. Since then I have been to 4 dermatologists (who diagnosed me with rosacea). I agree with you on the " severe sunburn " reaction. I refer to my condition as a chemical burn. I only tried proactive as my brother uses it for his acne and he suggested it for my acne. Now I would give anything to stop this nightmare. I have spent hundreds on creams with no luck. my skin is very sensitive with enlarged pores and has surface redness all day. It gets worse as the day progresses, I think that is why they said I have rosacea. but the latest derm said I have nerve damage and made me an appointment at a pain clinic for august 20!!! 7 months!!! My acne has gone away, and I attribute that to copious amounts of water every day (to hydrate the damaged areas) and no alcohol. Please let me know how you fixed up the damage done by proactive. thanks ryan
