Guest guest Posted March 26, 2002 Report Share Posted March 26, 2002 I had h.pylori about 5 years ago. I didn't know I had it until I contracted a virus that caused me to be hospitalized. My gastroenterologist discovered the bacteria in my stomach after performing a gastroscopy. Antibiotics got rid of the h.pylori. I had a bloodtest for it about 3 years ago and it was negative for h.pylori. I was told by my derm. this past December that I have rosacea but I suspect I've had it for a few years now.
