Guest guest Posted November 22, 2002 Report Share Posted November 22, 2002 Hey , Thanks for all the info on the PICC line and central line. You said with the PICC line they can get blood from it. Can they get blood from a central line? I will tell Jackie that you said it was not too bad to go through and not to worry too much. I hope she won't have to go through too much torture next week with the ERCP. She gets them to try and put her to sleep with the gas in the mask...the last two times she had to be put under they did the IV after she was knocked out. I hope that is the case...either way I guess it helps. She came out with an IV in the foot last time. She is eating a little mashed potatoes today so far so good.
