Is it okay to skip the intro diet, since he currently does not > have active diarrahea. You don't have to do the intro but many have found that it helps give a boost in clearing out the " bad stuff " . For some parents there is just no way though that their kids will eat the intro foods. If you decide to do it you wouldn't have to do the intro for more than 2 days since you don't have diarrhea. > > He wants to have banana pancakes whole day long. My concerns are how > many eggs per day can he actually have? I think Elaine said 3-4 eggs per day were okay for kids. Also he has been off cows milk, > since the past 5 months. > > This is what he had yesterday: > banana pancake, almond milk ( home made ), 1/2 avacado, pureed/cooked > peach, omlette ( for lunch), spincach + carrot + onion soup for lunch. > pureed/cooked pear + cooked carrots for dinner, lemon juice . > > My questions are: > can I put him on almond milk, lentils/bean soup ( mentioned in the > BTVC book ) early on when introcucing him o n this diet? Because the > book mentions to introduce almond milk, lentils etc 3 - 6 months later > on. As long as he is fine (no adverse symptoms) and isn't eating a lot of almond flour items the strained homemade almond milk should be okay. You don't want to overdo the almonds - or any other food. The lentils are harder to digest and if you can wait a while you'll probably get more gut healing sooner. Sheila
