Guest guest Posted February 11, 2002 Report Share Posted February 11, 2002 Hi. I'm a newbie here. I was diagnosed with cea about 6 weeks ago, but I have had a red nose for about 2 years. The rest of my face was okay. My doctor prescribed steroids for me and sulfa lotion. Unfortunately I didn't know any better and used the steroids and sulfa for a couple of weeks. They didn't help much, so my doctor prescribed metro gel which made my face break out after only one application and then Azelaic acid, which made my entire face break out and swell up. Now I have cea all over my face and am taking Tetracyline but, I had to stop that today for my upcoming Photoderm treatments (which I hope work). I am interested is talking to someone who has asthma and rosacea. Any knowledge that you can share about the effects of asthma and allergy medication on cea would be helpful. Thanks for listening!
