Guest guest Posted June 1, 2002 Report Share Posted June 1, 2002 I am new to reading the postings of this group and am requesting a MD referral in land (DC Suburbs) that is knowledgable and creative in treating rosacea. I have been dealing with this condition for years and now pretty much have a permanently red face and neck. What I am more concerned with is the fact that I now have almost continual burning, tingling, sandpaper on the skin sensations or pain on my face virtually all the time. I also have had numerous episodes of conjunctivitis. My present dermatologist has been trying to treat with antiobiotics and noritate/metro gel with not so good results. He does not seem to be familiar with some of the alternative treatments.
